Today's youth are our future – and that's precisely why it is worth investing in them.
For the first time, our young people spent an entire weekend without parents, but with a dedicated team of supervisors at the Hermeskeil youth hostel. Three days full of community, team spirit, fun, and valuable experiences that everyone will surely remember for a long time.
Friday, 17.07.2026
Our adventure started right on time at 3:30 PM. After assigning rooms – deliberately by drawing lots to encourage the formation of new groups and friendships – we had dinner together. The rest of the evening was dedicated entirely to getting to know each other, exchanging ideas, and enjoying a great community.
Saturday
After a joint breakfast, we went straight into the first team task:
Two teams – one task: Develop your own choreography!
The young people were able to experience how much creativity, planning, and teamwork go into the work of a coach.
Then it was time to say in the best summer weather:
Off to the outdoor pool!
In the afternoon, we dealt with important topics as part of Juleica – including bullying, respect, and proper interaction with one another.
A real highlight of the day was the joint visit to the fair in the evening. Afterwards, the teams presented their daily task – more on that coming soon!
In conclusion, additional content from the Juleica was discussed and reflected upon together with the young people.
